Meet Morgan Carpenter, RN Injector & Registered Performance Dietitian

Please introduce yourself — who you are, your background, what service you provide?

I’m Morgan Carpenter, RN, BSN, and a Registered Dietitian. I recently moved to Austin and am so excited to learn more about this city! I currently practice as an RN injector at Austin Aesthetic Couture, where I provide personalized aesthetic treatments with a focus on enhancing natural beauty and helping my clients feel confident in their own skin! My background is a little unique because I’ve spent more than 14 years working in healthcare, and I’m also a Registered Dietitian, CSSD, who works one-on-one with clients on nutrition, wellness, and performance goals. I love being able to combine my clinical background, nutrition expertise, and passion for aesthetics to help people feel their best both inside and out.

How did you get started? What led you to this industry? Was it always the plan?

Aesthetics wasn’t always the plan, but it was always the dream! My career started in traditional healthcare and has taken me through nutrition, military performance dietetics and now medical aesthetics. Over the years, I became increasingly interested in the artistry and science behind aesthetic medicine. I loved the idea that small, thoughtful changes could make someone feel more confident without changing who they are. Once I started exploring aesthetics more seriously, I realized it was the perfect combination of my clinical experience, attention to detail, and love of helping people feel good about themselves. Moving to Austin gave me the opportunity to pursue that passion even further, and I’m so excited to build relationships with clients here.

What do you love most about the work? What keeps you motivated and inspired day to day?

Honestly, it’s the moment when a client looks in the mirror and you can see their confidence change. I love that aesthetics is about so much more than the actual treatment. It’s about listening to what someone wants, understanding their concerns, and creating a plan that feels right for them- while combining artistry and medicine. Every face is different, which keeps the work challenging and creative. I’m constantly learning, refining my technique, and staying up to date with new products and treatments. That combination of science, anatomy, artistry, and relationships with my clients is what keeps me excited about the work.

What's something people don't see or know about your industry?

There is so much more that goes into aesthetic treatments than simply deciding where to put Botox or filler. A big part of my job happens before the treatment ever begins — reviewing medical history, medications, allergies, previous treatments, facial anatomy, goals, and expectations. Safety and knowing when not to treat are just as important as knowing how to treat. I also think people sometimes assume that injectables should be obvious. My philosophy is almost the opposite. The goal isn’t for people to look like they’ve “had work done.” It’s to create thoughtful, individualized results that complement someone’s features. And there is a huge amount of continuing education behind the scenes. Anatomy, technique, product science, complication management, and evolving research are all things I take very seriously.

What resources, tools, or support do you wish existed?

I wish there were even more accessible, unbiased education for consumers, that wasn’t overwhelming. There is so much information online about injectables, skincare, supplements, nutrition, and wellness — and not all of it is accurate or appropriate for everyone — in fact, most of it is incorrect — especially about nutrition. I think clients deserve to understand *why* a treatment is being recommended, what the realistic expectations are, what the risks and benefits are, and when something may simply not be necessary. As providers, having strong education, evidence-based resources, and opportunities to continually improve our skills is incredibly important. I’m a big believer in continuing to learn rather than ever feeling like you’ve “arrived”.

What do you want potential clients to know about you or your work?

If you’re looking for an injector who will actually listen to you, that’s me! I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to aesthetics. My goal is to understand what concerns you, what you want to achieve, and what will complement your individual features. Sometimes that means treating something — and sometimes it means telling you that you don’t need it. I bring a strong clinical background to my aesthetic practice, and I care deeply about safety, education, and natural-looking results. I want my clients to feel comfortable asking questions and never feel pressured into a treatment. I’m also new to the Austin area, and one of the things I’m most excited about is getting to know the women (and men) in this community. If you’ve been thinking about trying aesthetics but haven’t found someone you trust, I would love the opportunity to meet you! And if you’re interested in nutrition, I also offer one-on-one Registered Dietitian services. I love helping clients take a realistic, individualized approach to nutrition, wellness, and performance — so whether your goal is to feel more confident in your skin or healthier and stronger from the inside out, I’m here to help.

Your contact info and links are on your Maisaic profile, is there anything else you'd like to share with the readers?

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little more about me! Moving to Austin has been such an exciting new chapter, and I would genuinely love the opportunity to meet more people in the community. If you’ve been curious about aesthetic treatments but feel nervous, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, come see me. You don’t have to know exactly what you want — that’s what the consultation is for. My goal is always for you to leave feeling informed, comfortable, and confident in your plan. You can find me at Austin Aesthetic Couture, where I’d love to help you feel beautiful, confident, and completely yourself. I also offer one-on-one Registered Dietitian services for anyone looking for individualized nutrition support. I believe health and beauty aren’t about perfection — they’re about feeling strong, confident, and good in your own skin. I’m so happy to be here, Austin. I can’t wait to meet you! 🤍
